In conjunction with Angel Flight 2010 ~ Jazzed up for Green, Skutt Catholic High School awarded Charles Olson '98 with the 2010 Outstanding Alumni Award. A Hasting College graduate, Charles has played an instrumental role in the continued success of Skutt Catholic High School and has long been Jazzed Up for Green.

Like other young professionals, Charles wears many hats. He is a successful businessman, serving as the Vice President of Operations for OCI Insurance and Financial Services here in Omaha. He is a loving husband to his wife Jen Nelson Olson, a '99 Skutt Catholic graduate. He is a supportive father to his children, Addison, Ellie, and new baby Christopher Charles, born in March 2011. Along with his involvement at Skutt Catholic High School, he is an active member of St. Patrick's Parish, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

After his graduation from Hastings College in 2002, Charles worked tirelessly to form and sustain an alumni association at the school and served as the association's first and founding president. Charles also coached football here at Skutt Catholic for a number of years. He is so Jazzed Up for Green that he even proposed to Jen on the football field at the 2004 homecoming game!

Charles is active on the school's board of directors, providing insight and guidance from an alumni and young professional's prospective, and even plays recruiter once in a while, giving tours and sharing his story with prospective students and their parents. Charles' parents are Charles and Debra Olson.
